2026 Practice Registration for Summer Break Sports

Summer Break Sports will be starting soon.

Special Olympics is for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and/or Autism. If you are not diagnose with ID or Autism, you can be a Unified Partner for bowling.

You are registering to practice for the sport. You can sign up for 1,2 or 3 sports over summer break. Once you have registered, you will hear from a coach when practice starts. You are not registering for Competition. You must attend a minimum amount of practices in order to qualify for competition and ALL Competition dates to continue practicing.

TENTATIVE Competition Schedule

BOWLING
South Area 5 Bowling: August 1st Brandon, FL
North Area 5 Bowling: August 9th Hernando County
Bowling State: Sept 18-19 Orlando

SWIMMING
Swimming Area: July 18th High 5 Brandon, FL
Swimming Regional: August TBD North Shore Aquatics Center, St. Petersburg
Swimming State: September 25th-26th Fast Aquatics Center, Ocala

STAND UP PADDLE
SUP Required Swim Test TBD Veterans Park Pool 25M length of pool with and without a life jacket.
Practices will be at Sunwest Park
SUP Invitational in Key West or Orlando in August TBD.

If you are willing to give 1-2 hours a week for practice and be able to go to all competitions, YOU are a perfect person to coach. No experience is needed. Certification will be offered in the next couple of months
